A community Christmas

The residents of Little Mowbray recently staged the Christmas story in the local park. I thought it might be fun to share the pictures today.

The angel surprises Mary.

Despite his doubts, Joseph keeps a stiff upper lip.

Joseph and Mary find no room at the inn, but they secure a spot in a stable.

The shepherds pop by.

A bright star arrives.

Three wise men consult an encyclopaedia.

King Herod is a grumpy old scrooge.

Fortunately the presents did get presented in the manger.

Silent night is sung and all are happy.

Especially this gorgeous angel. All the kids got a slice of water melon.

Even the local parrot showed off his skills - truly a community event.
