This morning we say: Thank you! Dankie! Enkosi!

We have received tremendous support from the public and from the organisers of the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon office over the weekend.

The organisers of the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon had arranged a radio interview on Cape Talk and an interview with the Weekend Argus. We say thank you.

What is more, on the road and at the finish the announcers frequently alerted the public to the charitable events and the causes participants had run for. Our running supporter, Izak de Vries, said the announcer bellowed “This one is for the Durbanville Children’s Home” as he ran down the home straight.

Thank you to John Maytham for the radio interview on Cape Talk.

And thank you to reporter Jan Cronje and photographer Jason Boud for the great article in the Weekend Argus.

By the way: Izak has not finished running. He will be running our 5 km trail run on Sunday, 3 April, barefoot once again. He has asked the public to join him by entering here. You may wear you shoes! Even walkers are welcome!
