Interesting. What did you teach?

If I had to teach maths, it would have come out as Greek. I’m probably the world’s most non-mathematical person…

TrigWHAT?? Seriously, in st.8 my long-suffering, very kind teacher, Mr. Kies, asked me to PUUUHHHLEEEEZZEEE rather go and take art. So it was decided by the headmaster that they will apply to the Education Dept that I change subject in OCTOBER (please note) of my st. 8 year, as my totally non-mathematical mind will seriously endanger my Matric results (they were hoping I would get a few distinctions, you know the drill about schools competing, etc).
So I changed to something called “Handelswiskunde”, basically glorified word sums, interest calulations, working out square km’s, etc. MUCH easier, much more logical and actually handy. I can still apply what I learnt there.

*humbly bows* I didn’t make the wise choice, they forced me to. Did get me an distinction, though, whereas Maths would have ended in my extinction…
