Threats in plain language for all to see and hear

Februarie 22, 2012 in Sonder kategorie

2012-02-19 Black students rioted last week at the Westville University campus in KwaZulu, assaulting students and lecturers, rampaging through campus and destroying property.

In addition, one black student who called himself by two names – namely Siyanda Myende and Shle Shlobo – wrote on the campus’ facebook page this past Wednesday: “Indians will never understand black people because there are too many racial differences. We are born to kill and tomorrow we will wipe out all the Indians on campus. Don’t show up because you will go straight to heaven.’ “For whites we have already started with T.Blanch so we are continuing from there. Tomorrow this is our country we don’t need whites and Indians at UKZN’.

Blikskottel: Wonders how long it will take for some people to hear and understand.

  6. Any form of racism should be combated without reserve, we must eliminate race as factor and look towards the future, if South Africa is to succeed and progress. I have theory that in any population group, country etc it only take hatred from the extreme 5% on the left and extreme 5% on the right to ignite a race war. We the 90 percent in middle need to ignore the 10% extremist right and left. My wife method of promoting racial harmony is to give all our neighbors a Christmas cake, Result we have the best three neighbors in our Town, (2 Black and one white). God Word said Love your neighbor, as Christian nation we need to put his word into practice.

  7. Nooit sal daar vrede in hierdie land wees totdat alle rasse hul medemens bloot as MEDE-mense sien nie.

  8. That means that the 90% in the middle still has latent rascism, which acccidentaly is a genetic property.

No offence, but do you bribe your neighbours with Christmas cake?
What do you do to atheists (which I ain’t)?

  9. Agreed!! Racism is generic, but most people have learnt to live in peace and even accept and appreciate differences, that is what can make SA great and it also what can destroy this country of ours. We have decided wherever possible to live peacefully.

An example the same who got Christmas cake (and incidentally gave a us great bottle of Whiskey) had a dog who got lose and killed my grandson rabbit, after talking about rabbits he firstly gave us R350 for Rabbit and cage, secondly fixed the hole his dog made.

We do not really care if the neighbor is Muslim, Christian and or atheist, what matter to me that they are my neighbors and as Christian I have an obligation to love them.

To conclude my wife normally bakes in excess of 30 Christmas Cakes every year, family, friends and neighbors all love these cakes and they are not a bribe, but a gift of love.

  10. I take notice.

    The word is genetic.

  11. Agreed!! Got the meaning mixed up Racism is Genetic (in our Genes) as apposed to Generic (A Mood Swing).

LOL us humans can so funny sometimes… Thanks Neander.

  16. @Steve: Love thy neighbour: thus the man from another nation living next to your country in his own country is the macro understanding of this. In history it is clear that there is no other way for nations to truely peacfully co-exist.

For those who want to live together, that is their right as well, but I fear in the end in RSA the whites will have to adopt African ways to survive, just like the Porras do in Angola. If they do not toe that line, they will forever be under the heel…mind you I think they will be like that anyway.

So terloops, wat is jou persoonlike ondervindinge van oorlogs geweld of burger oorlog?

  20. @neander: If it is genetic, then I am even more sure that different nations need each their own space. Perhaps the only only way to balance this out genetically is then to work towards only having mixed raced people? I wonder how many will love that idea?

  21. When we say Love your Neighbor, it does mean lie down and die and accept everything that he does, but is does say try and live peacefully, if your neighbor is peace loving, then you have won a good neighbor, if he is violent then we have to retort to protecting what is dear to us by whatever means.

The bible as usual has the perfect answer:

(Rom 12:17) If someone has done you wrong, do not repay him with a wrong. Try to do what everyone considers to be good.

(Rom 12:18) Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody.

(Rom 12:19) Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God’s anger do it. For the scripture says, “I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord.”

(Rom 12:20) Instead, as the scripture says: “If your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them a drink; for by doing this you will make them burn with shame.”

(Rom 12:21) Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good.

Romans 18 does not say we should never pursue justice, just that as Christians we need to fellow the ways of LORD Jesus and not find satisfaction in justice however our faith does give us the right to defend ourselves, when our neighbors reject our love. The follow chapter Romans 13 gives the duties of the state; however my first duty however is always to my LORD God. That however is subject for another time and blog.

  22. Here we go again. Steve, please don’t quote the Bible selectively.
We dont do all the punishments to our children, slaves or wives as described in Leviticus, or do you?
So, as a roadmap how too handle human relations, the Bible has a very poor track record.

    Sela!

  23. Neander, I will never claim to totally understand the entire Bible, after all I have only spent the last 12 years studying it twice daily and then only for 20-30 minutes daily, so to give you an answer on the word of Leviticus will take a lot of time, however, I do believe that if you where to study Jesus the man, just as good man, you find that Romans 12 17-21 describes the way Jesus told us to be. Do not get me wrong I read the Old Testament just as only the new, but even after the twelve years studying, reading the works of Biblical authorities I am still finding new things. If you have specific passage in Leviticus and or any other Book of the Bible, do visit my Blog or even better visit the Blogs of Maroff – http://letterdash.com/maroff to find answers to the questions you may have.

  25. Ek het genoeg kennis van die Bybel en wat ek nie weet nie, kry ek gratis by Unisa se Bybelgeskiedenis dept of Google.
