Snaakse vrae en aanbouings

April 29, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

Constitution: failing from the start

April 27, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

1. Republic of South Africa.-The Republic of South Africa is one, sovereign, democratic state founded on the following values:

(a) Human dignity, the achievement of equality and the advancement of human rights and freedoms.

Could someone please explain where is the dignity of the man killed by cops in Ficksburg, or the people I see regulary on the dumping grounds, scratching for a few pieces of plastic that could be sold or used to make shack waterproof?

Where is the dignity of baies dying in hospitals due to lack of medicines and shockingly poor nursing?

Where is the dignity of the rape victims who gets added to the statistics every 90 seconds?

Where is the dignity in living behind burglar bars, alarms and constant monitoring by private security firms?

What has happened to make more than 1 million people leave this country, while the constitution promises that we will all be treated equally?

What has happened to let the ANC regime ignore the advancement of human rights, by allowing a dictator and criminal like Robert Mugabe stay in power, with their explisit support? A few other skunk state leaders can be added to this list, but for now Mugabe is closest to us and have a direct influence on RSA and it’s people.

Blikskottel….believe this constitution is worthless under the ANC or any unity state solution.

National Anti-Corruption Hotline

April 26, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

It appears that 7 766 cases have been reported to the National Anti-Corruption Hotline since its launch in September 2004. In 63% of cases the department to which they had been referred for investigation failed to give feedback.

Only 15% of cases referred to provincial and national government departments were finalised.

More than 1 500 complaints were received about corruption and bribery.

Almost 1 000 complaints were submitted regarding abuse of state resources

  • Now firstly I wonder if the 900+ counts against Zuma is included in these figure….but my guess is that it is not.
  • Secondly, I believe that as always the reported figures is just the tip of a much larger iceberg.
  • Thirdly I believe that all such cases should be tried in open court system, as no ruling party can be trusted in such cases.
  • Lastly, I wonder if we the ordinary citizens do enough to find out about bribery and corruption in our areas and if we actually report these things…or are we just getting used to it?

Blikskottel…hope that just for once the masses will vote with their brains.

Item 22 from the constitution

April 25, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

22. Freedom of trade, occupation and profession.

Every citizen has the right to choose their trade, occupation or profession freely. The practice of a trade, occupation or profession may be regulated by law.

Perhaps we need to look a bit deeper at this part of the constitution and discuss whether the actual handling of this by the current regime is within the spirit of the constitution.

The constitution says that practice of a trade/occupation MAY be regulated….now what exactly does that mean? Perhaps:

That only a pre-determined number of people may practice a trade/occupation?

That only members of a certain race may practice a trade/occupation?

That a percentage of a certain race may practice a trade/occupation?

That a trade/occupation may only be practiced by a certain party’s members?

That a trade/occupation may only be practiced at certain times of the day?

That a trade/occupation may only be rewarded in a certain way?

That unions may prevent people from doing their trade or occupation?

Even more, what does the spirit of the constition say about reasons for for regulating or timeframes of said regulation?

To me it is clear that the ANC regime has taken this way outside the spirit of the constitution. They have used this MAY, to effectively rob bright people of their rights and the community at large of the talents of those people. Clearly the breakdown of infrastructure and the lack of the most basic of services show this up.

Blikskottel…thinks it’s time that the concourt is forced to rule on this.

Banks, governments and current money systems causes people to be poor

April 23, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

I have always known that something was seriously wrong in modern money systems. Even as a young boy I could not understand why some people would do absolutely nothing and get rich, while other would work their backsides off and still be poor. Consider this next paragraph:

Control of the quantity of money is essential if its value is to be kept stable. Money’s real value can be measured only in terms of what it will buy. Therefore, its value varies inversely with the general level of prices. Assuming a constant rate of use, if the volume of money grows more rapidly than the rate at which the output of real goods and services increases, prices will rise.

This will happen be cause there will be more money than there will be goods and services to spend it on at prevailing prices. But if,on the other hand, growth in the supply of money does not keep pace with the economy’s current production, then prices will fall, the nation’s labor force, factories, and other production facilities will not be fully employed, or both.

Now in RSA and most of the world we see prices of goods and food rising all the time, so why does this happen? Perhaps we should rather look at it as the money in our hands actually have less buying power. Simply put, it means that government is creating more “paper money” than what the economy is worth or can produce. In effect they are also adding to the nasional debt, which they expect us, the taxpayers to service all the time.

Aces high in Parys

April 21, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

Last week, at around 7 ‘o Clock in the morning, I was on my way to my buildings in Parys and what I saw was a real surprise. Every broken lampost globe was being fixed. There must have been at least 10 people busy with this and considering how long we have been complaining about this, I realized something big was up.

Just a bit further on I found some more workers, cleaning up some pavements….and the mere fact that thy were actually woriking that early in the morning, was almost to good to be true. Parys municipality is crap and to be honest, the workers is the same.

It turned ou that I was right, Ace Magashule, the Freestate ANC bigwig was here to visit his old hometown and the ANC municipality had to at least try to look a bit like they were doing something…even if it was only for a day or two. Ace stayed in a guesthouse with his 4 body guards and the owner who I know actually told him what the real situation is in Parys. I do not think this was needed as he could not have missed the dirty parks, unkept pavements, overgrown municipal grounds, broken street lights…and the huge number of potholes. Perhaps he did not see them from his fancy car, but there is no way that even a ANC bigwig in a tax payers paid for Hummer, could miss them all and thus not feel the bump of a pothole of the size we have to contend with daily.

Well the Ace promiseed that he will fix Parys, but we have heard many promises before. I just do not think, he or the the ANC can fix anything, not even a small town like Parys. About the cities, like Bloemfontein, I have no doubts…they can and will never fix it.

Blikskottel…will for now wait and see if Ace lied…yet again…o yes and all those busy workers are nowhere to be seen…they also left right after their political boss left….

Wie’s die man in jou dogter se lewe?

April 17, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

Hier is my reels en hoe ek in haar lewe pas:

1. Solank sy onder my dak is, is ek die enigste man in haar lewe….volgens haar      tot sy trou is dit waar…

Malema and AfriForum

April 13, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

I’ve been keeping some tabs on this whole case between Julius Malema and AfriForum, not that I expect any court to make a judgement against the Pedi boytjie…or if they do have the balls and do find him guilty, that Malema will comply to any court decision.

What amazes me is all the armed security guards that surrounds Malema…what is he so scared of? Perhaps the masses who keeps on suffering because of his beloved ANC, or perhaps some whities who at some point surely will have had enough of him…perhaps even the ANC bigwigs who knows that his evil places way to many eyes on their own stealing, corruption and idiotic policies…

Perhaps he needs to listen to good advice and look at history a bit more. There are many examples of young hotheads who got knocked off because they could not keep their traps shut, especially if they are idiots who just upset people with their evil rhetoric.

Blikskottel….remembers people like Chris Hani….

Parys, the water situation

April 8, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

In Parys, most people have just gotten used to the bad water situation…well so it seems. Not amazingly, we have seen several “water shops” come to life, all doing brisk business. This morning I even saw a farmer with a tank on his bakkie, delivering water  directly from a source on the farm.

Last night, this is what came from my bathroom taps and this is still pretty clean, by our town standards. Needless to say we use a special soap to kill the germs that might be in the water.

Smalltown politics is currently being played in our town as well, but sadly in the end the ANC will yet again win, voted into power by those who add least to our local economy.

Blikskottel…was clean after the bath.

Trash removal in Parys

April 5, 2011 in Sonder kategorie

So on Sunday morning, the trash removal van shows up in front of my house…not on Thursday like it was supposed to. The driver was just hanging around, obviously half drunk…the other two okes were also drinking on the job and this at 8 o Clock in the morning!. My wife warned me that they will hang around in one spot untill someone shows and then they will try to get some food from whoever that unlucky person is. There idiots have money for beer but not food…what the hell is wrong with them and their employers?

So, I was the one to go and confront them and they got cocky, untill I threatened to report their behaviour at the cops.. This has apparently been going on for months and women in our town is targetted mostly. Monday a nice little letter will be at our local news paper and when these arseholes come around again, my camera will be ready..

Blikskottel says…f’em all, this is enough.
